Today is the last day of school.
I think I'm prepared for Summer? We've made a list of Summer Rules (things like limited TV time, My kitchen will NOT be an all day BUFFET, later bedtimes, and Summer Plans (Picnics, tea parties, Camping)....but they usually end up like New Years Resolutions...I still have hope though. :)
Yesterday we took a stroll around the block. It was a leisurely and nice walk.
The girls scoured the roadsides for Flowers!
Lots of daisies to be had.
"Love - Love me Do..." He sang most of the way. I had the song stuck in my head the rest of the evening.
Nobody would stay close by, which makes me super anxious cause CARS drive on the road. I need to chill.
This moment was filled with "If you don't stay closer to me we are going HOME!" You can see they look really worried.
Real treasures were found...Wild strawberries. Soooo sweet....
And tiny. I remember once when I was little my mom made jam, the whole batch was from wild strawberries. I don't think I've ever had jam so good in my entire life.
We cleaned out backpacks when we got home, since we won't be needing them for a while. I found this...
Hmmm.......
