Unwinding

Ahhh....

It was a long weekend.  We had a funeral all the way across the state to attend.  It was for someone my husband was pretty close to so it was a sad, stressful weekend.  I'm glad to be back home and getting back into the swing of things.  

I have spent most of the morning cutting out dolls.  Hopefully tomorrow will be filled with sewing.  Maybe even some of today.  ;)  But first we really needed to unwind here and get back on schedule. 

So....

We made pancakes. 

He swiped one...BUSTED!

This CRACKED Mimi up...she said they were hugging.  She proceeded to tell us the pancake "conversation" that went on before the hug.  :)

Everyone knows that Bedhead helps make better pancakes.  :)

We made enough to freeze too.  We eat a lot of pancakes. 

We all relaxed a little and got back into being together and being at home.  And after this weekend, we all really appreciate being together.  Sometimes it's easy to forget how special simple things are.
